Lenovo unveiled in Russia, a microcomputer Lenovo ideacentre Stick 300, made in the form factor of the “stick”. The device length of 10 cm and a weight of about 50 g is running Windows and can run corresponding applications.
“The gadget is built for Plug and Play and can turn any TV or monitor with HDMI into a full-fledged personal computer running the operating system Windows 8.1 or Windows 10. Externally Lenovo ideacentre Stick 300 is significantly different from a conventional computer, because it is more like a big stick. However, if you connect to micro PC wireless keyboard and mouse (2.4 GHz), it is functionally no one will notice the difference compared to a big desktop”, – say the representatives of the vendor.
Device Lenovo ideacentre Stick 300 is equipped with the Intel Atom processor Z3735F (1.83 GHz, 2MB cache), 2 GB of RAM and an inbuilt storage capacity of 32 GB. The gadget has an HDMI port for connecting to the display, USB 2.0 port for connecting external devices, an SD card reader. Device requires additional power that uses the mini-USB port.
To connect to external resources Lenovo ideacentre Stick 300 is equipped with a module Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0. Dimensions are 100 x 38 x 15 mm. the cost of the gadget is comparable to the price of the netbook – 13 990 rubles.
Note that a similar device in March jointly issued the Microsoft company and Daewoo Lucoms. According to its characteristics it is slightly inferior offspring Lenovo, however, can attract customers through lower prices.
