Yesterday, Lenovo unveiled two new series of Thinkpad laptops, the thin-issued Lenovo, “workstation”, weighing 1.7 kg, the ThinkPad P1, and powerful machine with top specifications – ThinkPad P72.
P1 – 15-inch laptop with a thickness of only 17.8 mm, depending on the configuration, comes with a display resolution FHD (1920×1080 pixels) or 4K Ultra-HD (3840×2160 pixels), with processor 8-generation Intel Xeon or Intel Core (Core i5/i7/i9), Nvidia Quadro P2000 in the maximum configuration, RAM, up to 64GB DDR4-2667 and the hard drive up to 4TB. Lenovo also notes that the new charger is 35% less than the previous laptops, which provides greater portability.
P72 – a more powerful laptop with a screen diagonal of 17.3 inches, which weighs 2 times more than of the P1 and offers up to 128 GB DDR4-2667 RAM, 6TB hard drive and a discrete graphics card Nvidia Quadro P5200.
Both models will be available to purchase at the end of August. The starting price for the basic package ThinkPad P1 will be 1 949 United States dollars for the basic package ThinkPad P72 – 1 799 USD.
