Lenovo introduced a new smartphone, which will become a direct competitor Xiaomi Redmi 3. The latter debuted last week and in addition to the low price tag ($106) it boasts a metal body and decent performance characteristics.
Lenovo said “the Chinese Apple” by the Lemon model 3. This device features a 5-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, 64-bit 8-core processor Snapdragon 616 with a clock frequency of 1,5 GHz and 2 GB of RAM. Internal memory available in 16 GB, expandable by microSD card. The main camera got permission 13 megapixels and led flash, front — 5 megapixel matrix.
The device supports high-speed LTE connectivity, dual SIM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, has a standard micro-USB port. Special mention deserve dual speakers with Dolby Atmos. Device dimensions — 142 x 71 x 7,99 mm.
The key difference between smartphones is the battery. This figure far ahead of Redmi 3 Lemon 3 with its 4100 mAh. Lenovo battery capacity is “only” 2750 mAh.
The new Lenovo smartphone will go on sale in China and costs 699 yuan which is equivalent to $105. It is expected that after testing it on a local market Lemon 3 will be released on the international market, but under a different name.
