Lenovo has brought to the IFA 2015 smartphone with dual front cameras

Lenovo has unveiled its first smartphone, the equipment, which included two front-facing camera. 5-inch device is designated Vibe S1.

Announcing Vibe S1, Vice President of Lenovo Jerry Hsiao said that every day the world creates about a million selfies, and 48% of them subsequently sent through the social network Facebook. According to the Chinese, the selfie is an indispensable attribute for many smartphone users.

On the front panel, Vibe S1 has two cameras: the main with a resolution of 8 megapixels for portraits and the second at 2 megapixels to determine the depth and create different visual effects. The presence of the second “eye” provides for the possibility to dissolve a portion of the frame, you can cut a man with a selfie and put it on any other frame or downloaded from the Internet image. In a press release even such example is given, “no matter where it was made selfie, the person may be carved and placed in front of the Taj Mahal or the Eiffel tower”.

Characteristics Vibe S1 logically be attributed to the middle level of equipment. The device is based on 64-bit chipset MediaTek MT6752 8-core processor with a clock frequency of 1.7 GHz, complemented by 3 GB of RAM, 5-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels and a main 13-megapixel camera.

Vibe S1 runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop. It comes with 32 GB expandable memory, battery of 2500 mAh and has support for LTE-networks. The dimensions and weight of the phone — 143,3 x 70,8 x 7.8 mm and 132 grams.

The novelty will appear on sale in November 2015 in white and blue colors, and the cost of the smartphone starts at $299 (20 000 rubles).
