On Google Pixel 2 again receives complaints. This time the owners have reported incorrect operation of the camera in locations with led lighting.
Users report that photos and videos taken in such conditions, contain numerous bands. The video clearly shows what was going on:
On the YouTube channel one of the users has posted a video that allows you to compare the quality of shooting on Google Pixel first and second generation in the same conditions.
And here’s a picture taken in the evening near a source of LED lighting. In the picture it is clearly visible stripes.
According to the principle, the led light sources flicker at a certain frequency. But other premium smartphones do not have problems with shooting in such conditions.
Most likely, the problem will be solved in the next major update. Last week, Google has already released a new firmware version specifically for smartphones Pixel. The update brought the solution to some of drawbacks, such as unnatural colors and unusual sounds when playing audio files.
