In the vast Chinese microblogging service Weibo found a new image of the hull of the hotly anticipated flagship smartphone Apple. Analysts of research company CLSA published scheme iPhone 8, argue that the fingerprint scanner smartphone with a high probability will be placed on the rear panel.
The drawing shows a mobile display, occupying almost the entire front panel, vertical dual camera and a rear biometric module. Experts point out that Apple tried to place the fingerprint scanner Touch ID below the surface of the screen in the iPhone this year, but the technology is still not Mature enough for commercial application.
The chart shows the iPhone 8 dimensions: height 144 mm, width 71 mm. The thickness of the phone is 7.69 mm, excluding camera module.
Sources from the supply chain claim that Apple has decided not to abandon the fingerprint sensor as a time-tested element, but to place it on the back of the iPhone 8 is just below the brand logo.
Samsung, as is known, also placed the module Galaxy S8 on the back panel near the camera, but users were dissatisfied with the location of dactiloscopy. According to insiders, Apple will put the Touch ID module below to make it easier to get.
Traditionally Apple is testing multiple iPhone prototypes before choosing the final version, this can explain the contradicting leaks. It is unclear which option will be selected for commercial sale.
The official presentation of the iPhone 8 will be held in September this year.
