The next-generation smartphone iPhone 6s will be available in three memory sizes – 16, 64 and 128 GB. About it wrote in a note to investors reputable analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities.
At his disposal were inside about the lineup of new smartphones Apple, from which it follows that the minimum amount of flash memory of the smartphone is 16 GB. This refutes previously appeared information about the fact that Apple will increase the amount of memory the available iPhone models up to 32 GB.
Prior to this, in the media and social networks, it was suggested that the minimum amount of memory that Apple will equip the next generation phones will be doubled. Such a change, experts say, it would be logical. Especially considering another rumor, according to which an 8-megapixel camera in the iPhone 6s superseded the 12 megapixel.
However, in the 16 GB as the minimum, which will be available to customers, the fact that 16 gigabytes of storage and 1 Gigabyte of RAM in the iPhone 6 cost the manufacturer $ 15. Additional volume, quite logically, will add to the price of this module 30-50 percent. Given the large volume of sales of smartphones and the practical impossibility to increase the retail price (which will necessarily affect the drop in demand), such replacement may bring Apple millions of dollars in lost profits.
Ming-Chi Kuo confirmed the information about the new front camera of the iPhone 6s with a resolution of 5 megapixels, and the Force Touch display, improved fingerprint scanner Touch ID and a new color “pink gold”.
Confirm or refute information from there. The official presentation of the iPhone 6s will be held on September 9 in San Francisco.
