Kenwood has introduced two new multimedia system with support for Apple CarPlay

Kenwood has introduced two new models of information and entertainment on-Board systems for vehicles DDX6902S and DDX6702S that can boast as a systems support Apple CarPlay and Siri Eyes Free and competing Android Auto and Android Auto Voice.

Kenwood DDX6902S and DDX6702S will offer motorists a large 6.2 inch touchscreen display, wireless modules Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi, and a large range of interface connectors that include ports for GPS, microphone, onboard diagnostics, as well as HDMI and USB. The system supports connecting the camera to Full HD resolution.

Customers who have installed the latest version of iOS for iPhone 5/5s, iPhone 6/6s or iPhone 6 Plus/6s Plus will be able to use the voice commands Siri to make calls, compose and listen to text messages (SMS), access Apple Maps navigation Maps, their music libraries, podcasts and iTunes Radio service.

Kenwood has not specified the exact date of the beginning of sales systems, however, noted that DDX6902S and DDX6702S will be on sale until the end of October. Retail price of new products will be $850 and $800 respectively.
