Jubilee iPhone will receive unexpected name

Recent years, Apple takes a well-established pattern of naming a new iPhone. In odd-numbered years flagship smartphone called the number and the letter S after the number. Apple has no reason to abandon tradition. However, network sources insist on calling the new “iPhone 8”.

Perhaps this is due to the fact that in January the main smartphone on the planet turned 10 — because of this, Apple sort of undignified to present “ordinary” iPhone 7s.

As we know Apple plans to introduce three models. Two of them are the usual — iPhone 7s iPhone 7s Plus. About them is little known, but the design is unlikely to change much compared to the iPhone 7 — again, it’s a tradition. It may be glass housing — a requirement of time.

Together with the iPhone 7s iPhone 7s Plus Tim cook will introduce another iPhone — the same, and the jubilee award. It will have edge-to-edge screen, wireless charging, built-in display a thumbprint scanner and an advanced camera. It is possible to assert with absolute certainty: this device will be called iPhone 8, because 7s and 8 on the same stage — it sounds at least strange. This can prevent anyone but Apple, the company always complied with logic and hierarchy.

As noted by Life versions about the real names premium for iPhone is now three. First — iPhone Pro for iPad, Mac, iMac and MacBook. So Apple will emphasize the premium nature of the product. Second guess — iPhone Edition, like the Apple Watch and iPhone SE. So it is possible to explain to buyers that this is an exclusive anniversary product. And the third option is very simple and suitable for Apple’s style.

Anniversary new smartphone will be called iPhone. Just iPhone without any letters and numbers. Same iPhone, like 10 years ago. However, when people renamed it the iPhone 2g, but the model 2017, such is not threatened.

It will remain a classic iPhone — the one and only.
