Jubilee iPhone 8 OLED display will double the battery

The new flagship iPhone 8, which debuts this year, along with the iPhone 7s iPhone 7s Plus will boast double the battery. This was reported by analyst Cowen and Company Timothy Arcuri.

In the next report to investors, the expert said that iPhone 8, also known as the iPhone X will be equipped with a battery capacity of 2700 mAh, and its size will be similar to the iPhone 7. Recall, the iPhone 7 with a 4.7-inch display powered by a battery on 1960 mAh and the battery capacity of the 5.5-inch iPhone 7 Plus is 2900 mAh. The increase in battery capacity will ensure longer battery life iPhone 8, despite the larger display of the smartphone.

To increase the capacity of the battery iPhone 8, expected to succeed at the expense of a new motherboard design. Because of this, production costs Apple motherboard will grow by 80%. This, of course, will affect the cost of the iPhone. According to rumors, it will be the most expensive iPhone in history. Its cost will exceed $1000.

Recent leaks predicting the emergence of three versions — the Deluxe iPhone 8 with a 5.8-inch OLED screen and a 4.7-inch model with LCD-display under likely called the iPhone 7s and 5.5-inch iPhone 7s Plus LCD, which will receive less differences from current-generation Apple smartphones. All three models will boast 3 GB of RAM.

According to analyst, succeeding the iPhone 4.7 – and 5.5-inch screens will have the same memory options that today’s iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus — 32/128/256 GB. A 5.8-inch version of the smartphone with OLED screens hit the market only in two configurations — 64 GB and 256 GB of flash memory.
