Experts even a few years ago stated that a further increase in resolution smartphone displays does not make sense. This is, in particular, have repeatedly said the company’s experts DisplayMate specializes in the diagnosis and testing of displays. It appeared, however, that the booth was not 4K smartphone and Xperia Z5 with a “normal” Full HD screen.

A journalist named Wong waited in line at the booth, crept up to the smartphone and then only suspected spoofing, although all around the journalists continued to admire the “ultra” display novelties. It should be noted that externally Xperia and Xperia Z5 Z5 Premium is very similar and easily confused. But Sony employees were in no hurry to correct the public.
Meticulous journalist examined the room and found the side stand, in which were mounted tightly smartphones with innovative screen. But as soon as he tried to touch one instance, he was stopped by the cry of a Sony representative: “do Not touch”. Close to this stand none of the journalists were not allowed.
Wong was disappointed with the behavior of Sony and accused the Japanese of the dishonest marketing and blatant deception. The journalist noted that the huge crowd of his colleagues were unable to see the difference between displays with a resolution of Full HD and 4K.
