iTunes Radio will be paid on 28 January

Apple has decided to review the conditions of user access to iTunes Radio, including over 200 stations and a large catalog of music from the iTunes Store. The company sent out notification about the transition of the service to the model of paid subscriptions. Messages got users in USA and Australia.

iTunes Radio was launched at the conference for developers WWDC 2013. The service was shareware, that is when you use the service without subscription, have to listen to advertisements. iPhone, iPad, and Mac allow you to stream music, add new radio stations, customize stations with your preferred music, etc.

Since January 28, iTunes Radio will become an integral part of the music Apple Music service, which costs users $ 169 or 269 rubles for ordinary and family subscription respectively. During this free trial period Apple Music will include the opportunity to listen to iTunes Radio.

Experts estimate the new initiative by Apple as an attempt to increase the popularity of Apple Music, which, according to rumors, has more than 10 million subscribers. Users not wishing to pay for access to “Apple” radio stations, will use the service Beats 1.
