According to the newspaper Appleinsider.com more and more iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus complain of problems with the GPS navigation on their devices. Among iPhone users X such statements much less.
The location marker in Maps is always on the move and points not where in fact the device is. Moreover, the inaccuracy increases at higher speeds, for example, while driving on the highway. The representative Appleinsider said:
“Problems with GPS on the iPhone 8 Plus not as extensive as it was with my iPhone 6, when from-for errors of the Navigator, I regularly turned the wrong places. A few days ago, being in the room at the same place, I watched as a location marker for a few moments moved about 200 meters to the side”.
iPhone X arrived in retail stores last week. To say how big the problem is for the anniversary of the smartphone is difficult due to the lack of statistical data.
Disable and enable location services does not solve the problem. The factory reset also no results. Users claim that inaccuracies in the GPS navigation was partially solved when updating iOS 11.1. In addition, visitors of the forum support Apple, that problem was fixed after installing the second beta version of iOS 11.2. The official release of iOS 11.2 to be held in December this year.
