iPhone more than twice, if it will start to collect in Russia

Yesterday the Governor of the Saratov region Valery Radaev has suggested to release the iPhone 7 in Russia. However, experts doubt the feasibility of such a proposal. The idea of an official about the Assembly of smartphones Apple in Russia could increase the cost of the gadget at least twice.

According to leading analyst Mobile Research Group Eldar Murtazin, the national Assembly of the device will lead to higher prices, as in Russia there are no suppliers of components and materials.

“Delivery of these components from China, South-East Asia will cost money simply because of our laws. Before assembling the phone, the iPhone for example, component costs will exceed its retail value. Due to the fact that all the components will be paid at the customs, the price of this iPhone will be a half to two times higher,” said Murtazin in an interview to RSN.

According to the analyst, the economic feasibility in the proposal: “There are many other pitfalls. That is, on the whole, this idea is absolutely fake, it is unfounded and has no not to make such useless for foreign products in Russia”.

The expert said that even for the beginning of manufacture in Russia of components for the iPhone need 20 years and the investment of 200-300 billion dollars. Besides, the phone of this brand cannot be called a mass product, since the Apple phone is only 5-7 % of the market, he said Murtazin.

On Thursday, the Governor of the Saratov region Valery Radaev instructed to arrange in the region production of the iPhone 7. “People say that everything stopped, and you reported that you there are six thousand people.
