iPhone 8 will get 3 GB of RAM

Two new iPhone models this year will be equipped with 3 GB of RAM, according to analysts from TrendForce. We are talking about the iPhone 7s Plus and iPhone 8, a 4.7-inch version of the iPhone 7s will still be satisfied with 2 GB of RAM.

The TrendForce forecast regarding the amount of RAM in smartphones this year, the average gadget to the end of this year will be equipped with 3.2 GB of RAM. Compared to last year, when the average amount of RAM in smartphones was 2.4 GB, the increment should be of 33.4%.

Potential buyers of the anniversary of Apple, the subject of rumors like the iPhone 8 and iPhone X, don’t expect the device 4 GB of RAM. The new product, as the current iPhone 7 Plus, will receive 3 GB of RAM, the expansion RAM will not happen before 2018.

3 GB of RAM will have 8 new iPhone with OLED display diagonal of 5.8 inches and 5.5-inch iPhone 7s Plus with the LCD panel. Updated last year’s model with a diagonal of 4.7 inches will be equipped with 2 GB of RAM.

The increase in RAM allows the smartphone to store more data in memory. For example, if the iPhone SE open many tabs in Safari, you will notice that the browser reloads pages when switching to them. With increased RAM memory, this problem disappears.

As for Android devices, that they increase the amount of RAM is due to user demand and performance issues, which explains the architecture of the platform begins to slow down after some time.
