Earlier we already could see the tests for water resistance of the Samsung Galaxy S8. The project PhoneBuff decided it was time to do the professional test, dropping the device on concrete, one comparing device for strength with the iPhone 7. This is not the first drop test of the South Korean gadget, although the previous one looked like not the careful work of the editor.
Galaxy S8 or iPhone 7 Plus: the result of a fall screen down on concrete
In experiment took part Galaxy S8 glass and metal flagship iPhone 7 Plus. Using a special test device that allows to exclude influence of the human factor. The process enthusiasts approached with seriousness and used professional equipment. Dropped smartphones hitting them on a hard surface in different planes. Both devices were dropped from a height on rear panel, bottom corner of the screen.
In the first test with a drop on the back side the advantage was on the side of the iPhone 7 Plus. The unit received only minor scuffs on the back panel, while the Galaxy S8 rear windscreen got crack on the edges.

Upon landing on the corner of both smartphones got the same damage in the form of small scratches aluminum frame. In the third phase, when hitting the screen on concrete both smartphone got damaged, and the display cracked. But if the flagship Samsung cracks were only on the edges of the front panel, the front panel of the iPhone 7 Plus was covered with a cobweb of cracks. In addition, Apple refused camera.
