In October were presented the Google Pixel and the Pixel XL, which received the Google Assistant and a decent hardware platform in the face of Snapdragon 821, 4 GB RAM, 128 GB of flash memory and one of the best on the market cameras. How well the latter acts against the camera main competitor – the iPhone 7 Plus? The contest between the two leaders decided to hold the author’s YouTube channel SuperSaf TV. Who is better for photos and videos: adored by many iPhone 7 or “iPhone to Android”, as many call the new smartphone Google?
the iPhone 7 Plus equipped with a 12-megapixel modules with expanded color range and the new 6-cell faster lens. The device features dual camera system with an aperture ƒ/1.8 and ƒ/2.8 wide angle and a telephoto lens sensor. This combination is provided by the 2-fold optical zoom (supplemented by a 10x digital), as well as the mode of portraiture. The front camera has a resolution of 7 megapixels.
Google Pixel XL in turn, received a 12.3-megapixel sensor Sony IMX378, aperture ƒ/2.0 and 8 megapixel front sensor. The device boasts a rating of 89 in the popular test for the quality of the photos DxOMark – the highest among smartphones. In this ranking the iPhone 7 has earned 86 points. It is understood, however, that the rating DxO can not boast of objectivity, because in the first series he made a very controversial device with a far better photographic capabilities. With this iPhone 7 Plus specialists DxOMark has not yet tested.
Video blogger did a series of test photos on iPhone 7 Plus and Pixel XL in the same conditions. The flagship Apple manages to shoot clear and bright photos with decent detail in good lighting conditions. Also showed good color reproduction. Pixel XL boasts a wider dynamic range and AF speed. In low light the iPhone 7 better detail.
