Followed by a message about Apple’s plans to release this year, a 12.9-inch iPad Pro edition IHS China has issued insider information relating to the flagship smartphone, the American Corporation. Information obtained from “reliable sources” and includes some camera features iPhone 6s.
A recent report from KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said that the new generation iPhone will get a camera with a larger resolution. The head of IHS claims to have received confirmation of this information. According to Kevin Wong, Apple will not participate in the race of megapixels and only slightly increases the resolution of the matrix. This is partly due to the need to keep the compact dimensions of the model. iPhone 4s, iPhone 5, iPhone 5s, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus is equipped with a camera with a resolution of 8 megapixels.
According to a source, the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus will be the camera with a resolution of 12 megapixels and improved filtration technology image. This will reduce the size of the pixels in the matrix – they will be less than 1.5-MK pixels in the current smartphones. On the one hand, this will reduce the graininess and enhance the detail, on the other – smartphone camera will be worse off in low light.
However, instead of just increasing the resolution matrix Apple will pay attention to ancillary components of the camera. The manufacturer plans to improve the quality of the photos due to the special lenses, developed by Japanese company JSR. The technology involves the use of a transparent resin (cyclic olefin), which provide the highest level of filtration and superior optical properties of the camera with minimum size of the module.
This innovation will allow Apple to achieve higher quality photos and video without having to install a large sensor, which may adversely affect the size of the device. Moreover, the company should maintain the same size of iPhone 6.
Last year, recall, it was rumored 10-megapixel camera with an aperture of f/1.8 in the new iPhone.
