Recently, thanks to a series of benchmarks, we can see that the iPhone 6s with Apple A9 dual-core is the fastest device in the line of Apple. In tests it significantly faster than its predecessor iPhone 6. But how to show himself a new model in comparison with upscale tableta Samsung?
Resource Betakit compared iPhone 6s with Galaxy Note 5, which is based on the top-end 64-bit chip Exynos 7420 eight cores. The test objectives included the evaluation, the processor benchmark Geekbench 3 and graphics performance in 3DMark Ice Storm Unlimited.
Processor Apple A9 represents the third generation of processors based on 64-bit architecture. It uses advanced technologies to mobile devices, thanks to which the overall performance increased 70% compared to the previous generation models. And the efficiency of graphics has increased by 90%.
As you can see, the iPhone 6s in the Apple A9 processor with a clock frequency of 1.85 GHz, shows an increase of performance by 63% in single-core mode and 53% in multi-threaded mode compared to the iPhone 6. Despite having only two cores, hardware platform ahead of Apple’s 8-core processor Exynos 7420 not only single-threaded and multi-threaded testing.
As for graphics power, it also leads the flagship Apple. In 3DMark Ice Storm Unlimited smartphone Apple showed the result 28403 score against 24600 at Galaxy Note 5. Apple say that when working with graphics processor A9 is equal in performance to gaming consoles.
Of course, the specifications are not necessarily decisive factors in choosing a mobile device, however, as we can see, Apple has once again managed to set new standards of performance in the mobile devices industry.
