The Apple’s smartphone proved that mobile device does not need an 8-core processor and a huge stock of RAM, if everything is OK with the software. Despite the rather modest for 2015 specifications of the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus was the highest performing smartphones of 2015.
The team of developers of AnTuTu benchmark designed to measure the power of mobile devices, has prepared its latest quarterly report on the most productive models on the market. In the ranking took into account only the results obtained by ordinary users. Earlier in AnTuTu involved only device with Android operating system, but with the release of the sixth version of it included and iPhone.
The first place of the ranking with large margin is Apple’s flagship smartphone, which was officially presented in autumn 2015. iPhone 6s (Plus) has shown a record for AnTuTu result in 132 620 points. Any smartphone with Android has failed to even come close to the Apple device, equipped with a dual-core chip Apple A9 with a clock frequency of 1.85 GHz and 2 GB of RAM.
Second place in the ranking went to Chinese Huawei Mate 8, which became the most productive smartphone based on Android. The result was much more modest – 92 746 points. Behind it there is also a Chinese smartphone Meizu Pro 5 86 214 points. On the fourth and fifth places two smartphones of the company Samsung: Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+. Devices with 8-core Exynos 7420 processor with a clock frequency of 2.1 GHz and 4 GB of RAM are unable to oppose anything to the Apple flagship. The result of 83 and 82 087 364 points, respectively. Behind them is Apple’s flagship of 2014 – the iPhone 6 with 80 554 points.
The top ten ranking included three Chinese smartphone OnePlus 2, 1Pro Letv and Xiaomi Note Pro, Nexus 6P closes the top ten.
