On Monday Apple released the first beta of iOS 9.3, which carries a number of new features, including night mode Night Shift. Function, promoting increased sleep after using mobile devices at bedtime, will not be available to all users of gadgets with iOS 9.
Night Shift independently adjusts the color temperature of the screen of the iPhone and iPad depending on the time of day, making the screen ‘warmer’ in the evening. This reduces the negative impact on the eyes. The device switch to night mode automatically, getting data on the time of sunset at each location using the new geolocation feature. “Many studies have shown that the use of bright blue light in the evening may affect circadian rhythms and impede sleep,” notes Apple.
Due to the nature of work technology, access to “night mode” in iOS 9.3 will receive only devices on the basis of 64-bit processors. Including iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6s Plus, iPod touch 6G, iPad Air, iPad Air 2, iPad mini 2, iPad mini 3, iPad mini 4 and iPad Pro.

On the market there is software called f.lux with a similar function. In this case, the application running on the same technology that Night Shift, compatible with 32-bit processors in the iPhone and iPad, but Apple does not allow it in the App Store.
In addition to the Night Shift in the 9.3 update for iOS added the ability to lock Notes with password and Touch ID, new sections in the Health app, an enhanced Music support for Apple CarPlay.
