Apple will gradually return all employees to offices
The head of the popular web portal XDA Developers Max Weinbach (Max Weinbach) shared interesting details about the new iPhone. In particular, he said that the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max boast updated displays with ProMotion technology, which will provide an increase in the refresh rate to 120 Hz for a smoother picture. But the other two models of the iPhone 12 without the Pro will be equipped with conventional 60 Hz displays.
For those who have forgotten, recall that for the first time this technology appeared in the iPad Pro three years ago. It is noted that in the new iPhone, the system will automatically switch the screen refresh rate from 60 to 120 Hz and vice versa depending on the content. This approach will reduce power consumption and increase the autonomy of smartphones. This is reasonable given that ProMotion is not the only resource-intensive technology of the new iPhone. They will also receive 5G support, which consumes more power than LTE.
