Apple is looking for different ways to promote its successful tablet iPad. This season the company will act as the sponsor of Major League baseball (MLB). Under the agreement, the California Corporation will provide teams the iPad Pro. Marketing partnerships of this kind will be concluded for the first time, the value of the deal not announced.
In a statement, MLB stated that the partnership with Apple should help coaches of professional sports baseball organizations with analysis of game data. We are talking about analyzing players and statistics from previous seasons. This will help a 12.9-inch model Apple iPads.
“We are not just replaced notebooks with tablets, we help the coaches to do what was impossible before”, — quotes the edition of the Deputy Director of marketing for Apple’s Phil Schiller.
Note that Microsoft is a sponsor of the National football League of USA (NFL) and gives players the tablet Surface. The contract value is estimated at $400 million under the agreement, athletes and coaches should be used on the Microsoft device.
