On Wednesday Apple released the first update for iOS 9, designed to solve problems. Along the way, the update fixed the bug that caused freezes on iPhone and iPad after installing the update. The Creator of the YouTube channel iAppleBytes decided to compare the performance of iOS 9.0.1 and previous major release of IOS iOS 8.4.1.

iAppleBytes evaluated the performance pack on up to three devices — iPhone 4s, iPhone 5 and iPhone 5s. Placing the two devices with iOS 9.0.1 and iOS 8.1.4, he consistently opened up the app and compared the speed. In the process of testing were involved in the Phone Settings, App Store, Photos, YouTube, gaming apps, the multitasking Panel, Siri, control unit and other system partitions. Also the device passed the test in Geekbench 3 benchmark.
The results of the experiment may disappoint users of devices on iOS 8 that are waiting for the optimization of the new platform. iOS 9 is still running slower than the previous OS. This is especially noticeable on the iPhone 4s, on which most applications are opened with a greater delay. Best coped with the most productive of the three subjects of gadgets – the iPhone 5s.
Clearly, the poor performance of iOS 9 is due to the expansion of the functionality of the platform.
