Apple has released iOS 11.2.5 with bug fixes and support for the HomePod.
A new version of the operating system can load everyone. For this you need to open the device settings, go to the submenu of “Basic” and select “software Update”.
Judging by the description on the iOS 11.2.5, in this update Apple fixed some bugs and increased the level of system security. As suggested earlier, in the latest firmware, the Corporation added support for smart speakers HomePod, which sales will begin on 9 February. In iOS Siri 11.2.5 learned to read the news and include news podcasts, but so far only in the US, UK and Australia.
So far, no other visible innovations was found.
The AirPlay Protocol 2, which was announced at WWDC 2017, and not earned. Apple has promised to include it later this year. Apparently, in iOS 11.3.
11.2.5 iOS supports: iPhone 5s and newer, iPad Air and newer, iPod Touch 6 and newer.
