We’ve already seen detailed images of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, and today Evan Blass (@evleaks) shared a final technical characteristics of the smartphone.
The casing will be protected from water and dust to standard IP68. Galaxy Note 8 will have dimensions 162,5 mm x 74,6 mm, thickness 8.5 mm Phablet will be equipped with a 6.3-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2960 x 1440. Aspect ratio at this resolution and diagonal will be 18,5:9.
The international version of the smartphone will receive processor Samsung Exynos 8895. In the United States will be sold on the Snapdragon version of the 835. Galaxy Note 8 will receive 6 GB of RAM and internal storage is 64 GB and also has a slot for a microSD card.
Galaxy Note 8 will be the first Samsung smartphone with dual camera. Both modules will receive a resolution of 12 MP. Aperture wide angle of the main module will be f/1.7, and the telephoto is f/2.4. Both lens are equipped with optical stabilization. The camera will support double the optical zoom. The front camera will get a module of 8 MP with aperture of f/1.7.
The smartphone will be equipped with a battery of 3300 mAh. Note 8 will support quick-charging via USB or Qi. The phablet will be sold in four colors: black, gray, gold and blue.
Samsung will introduce the Galaxy Note 8 at a special event Samsung Unpacked to be held on August 23 in new York. The smartphone will be available in September.
