Rumors that Microsoft is working on a smartphone under the Surface brand, go for a long time. But in Redmond don’t hurry to release a Surface Phone. The announcement of the flagship, according to sources, has been repeatedly postponed. Recently, the editor of ZDNEt, Mary Jo Foley has named as the likely timing of release of the Surface Phone 2017. And now there’s a image of the upcoming flagship.

Known to cause all sorts of leaks Evan Blass published “the first real image Surface Phone”, rumors of which regularly appear in the last couple of years. Published images he accompanied by the information that the device has an Intel processor that rivals the performance of processors for laptops.

One of the subscribers Blass suggested that this is just a good concept, and then the blogger posted another collection, on which the smartphone looks like a real device. He stressed that this is not a concept but real image of the smartphone.

According to network sources, Surface Phone in the best case will be submitted in early autumn 2017, and at worst – until 2018. It is known that the device will come in three versions. Each of them will focus on a different segment.

The Junior model Surface Phone should get 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage, the average is 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB, and top-end version will sport 8 GB of RAM and a built-in 500 GB storage.

The expectations imposed by Microsoft on the Lumia product line, is not justified, and the Surface Phone might be the one last hope and chance for recovery of the mobile business. In the second quarter of 2016, the company sold 1.2 million smartphones Lumia, which is twice less compared to the previous quarter.
