In the code macOS 10.12.1 discovered references to an OLED panel in the new MacBook Pro

According to rumors, the new generation MacBook Pro to be radically different from the current models of Apple laptops. And the code in the operating system macOS Sierra 10.12.1 confirms a number of major innovations in the devices.

Update macOS Sierra, which debuted earlier on Monday, pointed out the main innovation of the future of laptops – touch OLED panel on the keyboard, which will be located on a place of keys F1-F12. Discovery announced a MacRumors reader Mitchell Broussard.

In the code system settings macOS found the updated layout of the virtual keyboard. Feature allows you to activate the on-screen keyboard unit, which can be used instead of a physical keyboard. In the latest edition macOS Sierra has a new layout option which is missing the top row of function buttons. Apple apparently felt that laptops with touch panel, this series is not required.

If confirmed, the new MacBook Pro will get the new design will be thinner and lighter. They borrow the basic elements of the 12-inch MacBook and will get a fingerprint scanner. In addition, new “prošek” promised to support the universal USB-C port and Thunderbolt 3.

In the code earlier macOS Sierra found a number of new components, including the ID kHIDUsage_LED_DoNotDisturb. The latter indicates the possibility of activating the “do Not disturb” with the touch of a button on the OLED panel. Also in the code of the new OS there is a parameter kHIDUsage_LED, which is responsible for the function of play, rewind, pause. The appearance of this line indicates the possibility to control the player using the touch panel. Now this functionality is implemented by means of mechanical function keys.
