Visitors of the flagship Apple store on Fifth Avenue in new York witnessed an unusual incident. The store was broken into, armed with a samurai sword.
On Thursday evening, the police received information that the store wielding man with a sword. He descended the glass staircase Apple Store and began shouting and waving weapons.
The Apple Store staff didn’t know how to react, they quickly called the police. After that, they created a “human shield” between the attackers and the visitors to the store.
Eyewitnesses suggest that the assailant suffering from mental illness. According to them, before arrived the police the assailant repeatedly struck the sword , then tried to inflict self injury. Militiamen detained the assailant and took him to the hospital in new York.
The name of the detainee as well as the motives of his action are not called. If he had planned the massacre with someone from the staff, is not known. None of visitors and Apple Store employees were not injured.
