The company BQ has announced the release of phones on the Ubuntu platform in Russia. One of the models already available in the online store Ozon.
Phone E5 the BQ Aquaris Ubuntu Edition, and soon E4.5 Ubuntu Edition will be available with pre-installed screens thematic Scopes, specifically designed for the Russian market, including applications with Vkontakte, Yandex, Mail.ru and the IMDb. Aquaris E5 HD will cost 15 499 rubles, and the model Aquaris E4.5 will be released for the price of 12 499 rubles.
Russia remains an important market for Ubuntu due to the large number of loyal fans, as well as the community of developers, says the company. Also in this region there is an increasing demand since the first launch of the device in February of this year.

The smartphone Aquaris E4.5 Ubuntu Edition volume flash memory 8GB has front camera with a resolution of 5 megapixels and rear camera with a resolution of 8 megapixels, autofocus, dual flash and can record video of high quality Full HD. The unit is equipped with a processor MediaTek Quad Core Cortex A7 and has a RAM of 1 GB.

Model E5 Aquaris Ubuntu Edition received a 5-inch display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. The device has a front camera with a resolution of 5 megapixels and rear camera of 13 megapixels with high-quality Largan lens and BSI sensor. Both devices will be sold in a black casing and will arrive in a fully unlocked form with the ability to use two SIM-cards.
The device is equipped with an excellent thematic Scopes screens, currently available, and to entice Russian consumers, it added several resources. Some of the new local themed screens include resources such as Vkontakte, Yandex, Mail.ru, IMDb, and others.
