In new York the scammers bought with forged credit cards iPhone, iPad, and Mac for $16 000

Two criminals in new York were able to buy Apple gadgets for fake driver’s license and credit cards iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch for $16 000. This writes Cleveland.

Arrested 23-year-old Jorge Escoto and 25-year-old Joshua Gonzalez had been charged with identity theft and stolen property. As it turned out, the illegal acquisition were made in the salons of mobile operator Verizon.

Gonzalez was caught after used multiple identities with one picture, but with different names. His partner Jorge Escotto was initially released from custody for lack of evidence that he visited the store and performed illegal actions. Later, however, became aware of his offences. He purchased iPhone in other departments of Verizon.
