In Moscow buses and trams until the end of the year will earn free Wi-Fi

Buses, trolleybuses and trams will be equipped with Wi-Fi Internet access. An auction was announced of the “Mosgortrans”, according to M24 with reference to the press service of the company.

To ensure Wi-Fi is planned 8 000 route vehicles. The initial amount of the contract is five years 411,35 million.

By the end of autumn to the global network will be equipped with a total of 450 bus stops. Currently wireless Internet is equipped with about 400.

Free to connect to the Internet on public transportation, you can use any mobile device – smartphone, tablet or laptop. For this purpose it is necessary to choose Mosgortrans_Free from the list of available connections and authentication via SMS.

To use Wi-Fi at the same time more than 50 people at each stop. The duration of one session is limited to 25 minutes, the connection speed to 10 megabits per second.

We will remind, on capital outbound thoroughfares plan to install 239 stops with outlets for charging phones and Wi-Fi. Most stops will appear on the Kashira highway, there will be 62. Another 42 of the stop will appear on the Warsaw highway and 38 in Ryazan.
