In the capital there will be 200 bus stops a new generation. This was announced by the Deputy mayor of Moscow Maxim Liksutov.
By the end of this year will appear in Moscow two hundred “smart” stops, which will be equipped with the latest technology. These stops differ from conventional counterparts. They are equipped with access points Wi-Fi, video surveillance and special stations for charging mobile devices.
Also there are maps and charts that passengers can easily build a route. According to the representative of the administration, 25 stops will be located in the heart of Moscow, namely the Kremlin and the Garden ring. “The installation and wiring has already begun,” — said the Deputy mayor.
In addition, Liksutov recalled the construction of the 23 end-stations for public transport.
Note that the smart-stop will be installed in St. Petersburg. One such stop is already mounted on Nevsky Prospekt, near the metro station “Gostiny Dvor”. The first passengers were satisfied, noting the user-friendly functions.
