At least 65 commuter trains of the Central suburban passenger company will be connected to Wi-Fi until September 2016. About this informed the Agency “Moscow” with reference to “the Central suburban passenger company”.
“The introduction of Wi-Fi technology we already almost finished the bankruptcy procedure to run. And we plan that by the first half of 2016, even by September, all 65 trains which it had previously planned, will be equipped with Wi-Fi,” said Executive Director Maxim CFPP deacons.
It should be noted that the first train with access to the Internet, has become a suburban train № 479 plying on Savelovskaya, Belarus and Kursk areas. This experiment was successful: 91% of participants of the project “Active citizen” called for entering the wireless network, and often for the opportunity to go to the Internet in the trains spoken women. Most interested in the service also were the inhabitants CJSC, NAO, NEAD, CAO. But in the West most often chose the option “difficult to answer”.
Note that the Moscow authorities want to create a unified Wi-Fi network throughout the city. Now free Wi-Fi in the subway, bus routes and some bus stops. In addition, wireless Internet covered by 10 parks.
Previously the Department of transport of Moscow began to equip the public transportation Wi-Fi spots. In Cheryomushki Wi-Fi access is available at the stop “trade Union”.
