This week released version of the jailbreak for iOS 10.2 with support for most iPhone and iPad models. Some users after hacking their devices, have faced a number of problems. So, in some cases after jailbreak iOS 10.2 gadgets hang on the Apple logo.
Another problem concerns work Cydia: sometimes the app store randomly crashes or refuses to run. If you are not running or Cydia after the iPhone or iPad has hit the cyclic reboot – the display shows “Apple” then you can solve the problems described below.
Step 1: Such failures do not occur at all, but problem cases quite a lot. To restore iPhone to life, perform a hard reset of the device. To do this, simultaneously hold the Home button and Power until your device restarts. As Yalu, the jailbreak is semi-tethered, rebooting will return the device to normal operation.
Step 2: iPhone/iPad should show a default home screen. But before putting the device in jailbreak mode, you need to remove tweaks that could cause cyclic restart. Usually, this is the last app installed via Cydia. In order to remove the tweak, you need to put the device into No Substrate Mode. That is, to activate the device to jailbreak mode, but disable all of the jailbreak apps. To do this:
- On the device, start the app yalu102:
- Tap the “Go” button, then immediately press and hold the volume up.
- Hold the volume button until then, until you see the lock screen.
Step 3: As already mentioned, No Substrate Mode is a special jailbreak mode where all tweaks are disabled on the basis of Substrate. You have full access to Cydia. Now run the app store and uninstall the last tweak that could cause cyclic restart.
Step 4: After removing the tweak you need to get out of the No Substrate Mode, that is to make all tweaks active. To do this, restart your iPhone or iPad in the usual way.
Step 5: After downloading iOS activate your device jailbreak in a standard way. To do this, run the application yalu102 and click “Go”.
