IOS 11 will be much more useful innovations than it was announced from the stage of WWDC 2017. One of them is an updated Notes app, which now supports scanning and marking up documents.
Scan the document
Step 1. To begin scanning, launch the Notes app. Create a new note or upload an existing one, and then press the “+” in the bottom corner.
Step 2. When a new menu will appear, select the option “Scan documents”.
Step 3. Starts something like a viewfinder defining the boundaries of the document. There is no need to align the image and the application will automatically find the edges and trim the excess.
Step 4. Once the image is uploaded, the app will offer to edit it, for example, to trim the edges, choose black and white, color or grey mode, etc., before saving.
Step 5. Specify the edges of the scanned document and click “Use”. If the picture, you can press the button “Copy”.
Add subscription/markup
Step 1. After the document was scanned and saved, click on the “Share” button and click “Layout”.
This function will launch the standard tools with the ability to sign the document. Here you can choose the color, type and style of the brush. “Notes” in iOS 11 support Apple Pencil, so for iPad users Pro the process of signing and annotation of documents will be more convenient.
Step 2: once you are finished, click “done” to save the document.
To share documents by using the standard options on the panel “Share.” This is another small innovation iOS 11, which should please many users.
