How to roll back iOS 9.3.2 on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch

On Monday Apple released a new version of the iOS operating system 9.3.2. The update is a second update for iOS 9.3, released in March 2016, it was tested from the beginning of April. Not all users update went smoothly, on forums already appeared complaints of malfunction devices. Fortunately, right now the owners of iPhone, iPad and iPod touch who have installed the new update, it is possible to do a rollback to the previous version of the operating system.

9.3.2 iOS update aimed at fixing bugs. It does not bring new functions, but is intended to fix glitches and issues found in previous releases. In particular, Apple says about how to troubleshoot problems with sound quality when you connect your iPhone and SE Bluetooth accessories, failure in a standard dictionary, errors that prevent typing the address in the “Mail” and “Messages” and a number of other problems. In addition, the iPhone has the opportunity to include Night Shift and a power-saving mode simultaneously.

How to roll back iOS 9.3.2 on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch:

Step 1: Download the IPSW-file iOS 9.3.1 at this link.

Step 2: Check that you have the latest version of iTunes. Downloading the latest iTunes release 12.4 on this page.

Step 3: Save the backup on an iOS device. This can be done by going to settings iCloud –> Backup –> Create backup, or connect your iPhone or iPad to the computer and saved a backup using iTunes.

Step 4: Disconnect the Touch ID/Password in the basic settings section.

Step 5: turn Off “Find my iPhone” in Settings –> iCloud.

Step 6: connect your computer to your iPhone or iPad with iOS 9.3.2 to your computer.

Step 7: Open iTunes and in the top pane of the program choose your gadget.

Step 8: while Holding the keyboard Shift (or Alt on OS X), click the button “Restore”.

Step 9: In the program window, specify the firmware file iOS 9.3.1 downloaded in step 1.

Step 10: Wait until the procedure is finished, the OS recovery process will take some time. You can now use the iOS device 9.3.1.
