How to restore recently closed tabs in iOS Safari and macOS 10 Sierra

Sometimes when working with the browser on the iPhone or Mac, read some important information suddenly and accidentally close the tab that you need. What to do? To search for information among hundreds of bookmarks to sort through the story or is there another way? In Safari on iOS and macOS 10 Sierra there are several ways to solve the problem.

How to open accidentally closed tab in iOS 10:

Step 1: Open the Safari browser on your iPhone or iPad.

Step 2: In the lower right corner on bottom panel, find the button to switch tabs. Click it.

Step 3: You will see all the open tabs and three buttons “Private access”, “+” and “Close”. You will need one of them.

Step 4: in order to restore the latest closed tabs, press and hold for a second ” + ” button. The browser will show a window with five of the last closed Internet resources.

The same method also works on iPad.

How to restore accidentally closed tab in macOS Sierra:

On Mac all is quite simple. The most obvious option is to open in the upper pane of the History section and go to “Recently closed”.

There is a quicker way. Right click on the ” + ” button located in the upper right corner of the screen. Opens the drop-down menu “Recently closed tabs” list the recently sites.

Mac owners can also use the keyboard reduction. Shift-Command-T will lead to re-opening the last closed tab.
