How to hide app icons in iOS 9 without jailbreak

Many iOS users lack the ability to hide the app icons. If you are using a jailbroken device, then there is plenty of free tweaks that allow you to remove icons from home screen iPhone and iPad. But not everyone can or wants to hack the gadget for this function. But now there is a way without jailbreak to hide any application with the ability to start them.

If you want the icons of some installed on your iPhone programs have been invisible to prying eyes, follow these instructions.

Step 1: first you will need one of two background images: white or gray. They are certainly not as attractive as we would like, but their use is definitely to perform this trick. Save them to the camera roll of your iOS device.

Step 2: Apply the background image in the screen Saver mode.

Step 3: go to Settings -> General -> accessibility -> Increase contrast. If you chose a grey background, then activate the Lowering of transparency. When choosing white Wallpaper disable this option.

Step 4: Create a folder, put the app you want to hide, and set the empty name. To do this, insert these spaces between the brackets [⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀] instead of the standard name.

Step 5: At this stage you should have a folder without a name and her background have to completely merge with the Wallpaper.

Step 6: Download from the App Store the app Designer icons. It is necessary to create invisible icons.

Step 7: Run the app icons, tap on New -> Link and then Photos -> camera Roll.

Step 8: Select one of the Wallpapers that you used in step 3. They are in the camera Roll.

Step 9: In the address box and in the box under the icon to paste previously used spaces for the folder. Click Install, and then Install it again.

Step 10: Follow the instructions on the screen to add an icon to the Home page.

Step 11: When a blank icon is created, add it to your folder, then drag the apps you want to hide inside this folder to the second page. On the first page one needs to remain “invisible” icon.

You can now close this folder. It will fully merge with the background image. To view hidden programs, open the “invisible” folder, and navigate to the second page.

Of course, it’s not the most elegant way, but if you really need to hide some apps, then use this method until you get bored of white or gray background.
