How to downgrade iOS 10.1 on iPhone and iPad

  • iTunes on Mac or Windows.

How to roll back iOS 10.1 for iOS 10.0.2 / 10.0.3:

Step 1: Download the IPSW file for iOS 10.0.2 or 10.0.3 iOS from here if you have an iPhone 7/7 Plus.

Step 2: Check that you have the latest version of iTunes. To download the latest version of the program on this page.

Step 3: Check that you have backup your device data. This can be done by going to settings iCloud –> Backup –> backup or by connecting iPhone or iPad to computer and saved a backup using iTunes.

Step 4: Disable Touch ID/Password in the basic settings section.

Step 5: turn Off Find my iPhone in Settings –> iCloud.

Step 6: connect your computer to your iPhone or iPad with iOS 10.1 on Board to your computer.

Step 7: Open iTunes and in the top pane of the program choose your gadget.

Step 8: Hold the keyboard Shift (or Alt on OS X), click the button “Restore”.

Step 9: In the program window, specify the firmware file iOS 10.0.2/10.0.3 downloaded in step 1.
