Many things are available for free, however, if you store a large amount of data in iCloud, the standard 5 GB may not be enough. In this case, you must choose one of five plans offered by Apple.

Rates for iCloud storage

Currently, the service offers five different subscription options. The memory is divided between all of your devices connected to one Apple ID. It can be iPhone, iPad, Mac and even Windows computers. In iCloud, you can store any files and backup devices.

  • 5 GB – free
  • 50 GB – 59 EUR per month
  • 200 GB – 149 rubles per month
  • 1 TB – 599 rubles a month

After increasing the amount of storage your account will be deducted monthly to pay for it.

What to consider before you select a plan for iCloud

Before making a final decision you should always consider several aspects. Here are the questions to ask yourself before moving to a new storage plan:

  • Whether you are running low on available memory in the cloud?
  • iCloud is your primary cloud storage or you use Google Drive or Dropbox?
  • Whether you use iCloud to store photos and videos?
  • Whether function sync your desktop and documents for multiple Mac with macOS Sierra?

If your answers show that you have a lot of free space in iCloud, then it makes sense to look to a paid tariff plans.

What rate to choose?
