When buying iPhone and iPad, with buyers often wonder about the warranty status of the purchased product. In order to be sure that you purchase a new device, we recommend you to check its status in a special section of Apple’s website. Just enter the serial number of the device, and you will learn the date of expiration of the warranty period of service and other information on the technical support of the product.
How to find the serial number of the iPhone or iPad:
- On iPhone and iPad: Find out serial number on the product packaging or in the iOS settings: Settings –> General –> About device”.
- On a Mac or PC: If the device is in working condition, check the serial number you can, connecting it to iTunes. Then go to the home tab and click the line under the information capacity of the gadget.

How to check warranty status iPhone and iPad:
Step 1: Go to the Apple website and open the page dedicated to information about the warranty status of the products of the company.
Step 2: Enter your account settings.
Step 3: Enter the serial number of your iPhone or iPad, as well as code from the image.
Step 4: Click Continue.
If your mobile device has never been activated, you will be asked to do the activation. If your iPhone or iPad was activated and is under warranty, then opposite to the column “Right to service and repair” will be a green tick. In same field to know the date of warranty expiration.
If your smartphone or tablet has been activated and the warranty has already expired, you will see an orange exclamation point with the words: “Technical support by phone: expired”.
Straight from the Apple website, you can contact customer support or to request repair” in one of the authorized service centers of the company.
