Today, 21 March 2016, the “Apple” company will present two interesting novelties. One of them is iPhone SE with a 4-inch screen, which will be the first Apple phone of this size after iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c, released in the fall of 2013. Analysts disagree on the forecasts, how much will the new compact smartphone from Cupertino.
According to the expert Rosenblatt Securities Hyun Jang, SE cost iPhone will be $350. Gene Munster from Piper Jaffray believes that for the device in the minimum configuration will have to pay $450, Qual Jeffrey from Nomura is in the range between $400 and $500. RBC Capital Markets analyst Amit Daryanani suggested the most expensive price tag of $549.
Note that currently the cheapest iPhone 5s in the Apple range starts from $450 (without a two-year contract with the operator), the iPhone 6s at $650, the iPhone 6s Plus at $750.
One of the reasons that Apple rejected the numeral “5” in the designation of novelties, is the fact that despite the same dimensions as that of the iPhone 5/5s, their “stuffing” iPhone SE borrowed from the iPhone 6s. Presumably, the hardware is based on a chip Apple A9, working in tandem with the coprocessor M9, and the main camera is built on the basis of a 12-megapixel sensor and supports Live Photos as well as video recording in 4K resolution. Of course, not without Apple Pay service, which means that the smartphone should be the fingerprint scanner Touch ID.
In short, the buyer SE iPhone, in fact, get the same iPhone 6s, but in a more compact package and with a smaller screen, which, incidentally, will not be equipped with 3D Touch technology — this feature will most likely remain the prerogative of the leaders.
It should be noted that all of the above is still only speculation, though, maybe and reliable. Then, as will be actually, will know very soon. World premiere of the smartphone will take place at 20.00 Moscow time. MacDigger visit to learn about the spring updates to the Apple.
