How many of the Nokia 5110 displays can fit on the screen of the iPhone 6s Plus

In the last few years, much has changed. The smartphone has become familiar to everyone today touch rectangle, almost the entire front panel which is the screen. And it is the most important detail of the phone with which the user interacts continuously. Therefore, such a significant role is played by the screen resolution of the mobile device.

The evolution of the displays of the iPhone started in 2007 with tiny by today’s standards, 3.5-inch panel with a resolution of 480 x 320 pixels. The flagship phones of 2014 and 2015 with the prefix Plus the resolution was even higher – 1920 × 1080 pixels.

Resource GoCompare has compiled an interesting infographic showing the number of displays of the famous Nokia 5110 can fit on the screen of the latest iPhone 6s Plus. Each small square on the infographic is the screen Nokia. Phone, recall, appeared in 1998, and since then was held for 17 years. The resolution was 84 x 48 pixels. By estimates of the edition on the screen of a modern iPhone can fit 514 displays Nokia 5110.

The resolution of screens continues to grow every year, despite the fact that since this doesn’t make any sense. Theoretically, the more pixels, the clearer the image. But the time came when the human eye is no longer able to tell the difference. People just can’t see the pixels “sverchki” panels. This means that further increasing pixel density does not make sense. The difference will be only in numbers and not in the perception of users.
