Hollywood goes to iPhone X

After other leading Directors in Hollywood, Steven Soderbergh is the Creator of the films “ocean 11” and “magic Mike” — has withdrawn his latest work Unsane iPhone on X. it is reported by Cult of Mac.

The film was presented at Sundance film festival. During the presentation, Steven Soderbergh said that he was amazed at the quality of cinematography flagship Apple. From his point of view, iPhone X became a full-fledged legitimate tools for creating films.

“I think it’s the future. Anyone who sees the film Unsane, not knowing the history of production, will not guess that it was filmed on a smartphone. This is not arrogance, but an objective fact”, – said the Director.

Steven Soderbergh is known in Hollywood love to experiment with cameras. Previously, he was a supporter of the big and expensive RED 4K devices. Now he came in excited about the possibilities of Apple’s smartphone.

The Director is not going to stop on only one tool to create their movies:

“There are a lot of almost philosophical discussion about what size it should be the capture device. I have no prejudices, and it gives me freedom. The new tool is the next Chapter for me.”

Unsane not the first film shot on iPhone. Directors shoot movies on Apple smartphones for several years. However, if before it was done because of limited funds, as is the case with the Tangerine ribbon, but now mobile devices have come to trust and big budget films.
