Hackers have promised to release untethered jailbreak for iOS 10.2 and recommended not to update to iOS 10.2.1

The developers are preparing the tools for jailbreak iOS 10.2. This was written in Twitter Luke Todesco – Creator utility Yalu designed for the iPhone and iPad with iOS 10.1.1.

For a long time we had uncertainty about whether there is a jailbreak for iOS 10.2. The current exploit only supports the previous version of Apple’s operating system. But today the hackers have clarified the situation: the paper is a compatibility update for the current at the moment the OS version.

“Fix for untethered jailbreak iOS 10.1 is support for iOS 10.2. This exploit will not work with the iPhone 7 on iOS 10.2, only 10 and 10.1,” wrote Todesco.

Hacker said that the jailbreak for iOS 10.2 will not be available on the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Users it is recommended to not install iOS updates 10.2.1, which will be released in the coming days.

For some reason iOS 10.2 will not be compatible with new models of smartphones, the developer is not clarified. Perhaps the problem is in the processor Apple’s A10 Fusion and its protection mechanisms. The hacker warned that all users of 64-bit devices running iOS 10.1.x or 10.2, except for the iPhone 7, you cannot update to iOS 10.2.1. The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus should stay on iOS 10.1.x, as the upcoming update Yalu for iOS 10.2 will not work for these gadgets.
