Center of research and development GS Labs has announced an updated version of the streaming app “Play.Tricolor” for iOS with enhanced functionality. The application includes the possibility of duplicate content from the TV screen to your mobile device (“mirror stream”), and also added the opportunity for independent satellite TV viewing on iPhone and iPad.
The App “Play.Tricolor” is intended for viewing mobile TV subscribers of the operator of digital television “Tricolor TV”. The extended functionality of the new service for iOS provides an independent view video content from your tablet or smartphone with a dual-tuner console-server (GS or GS E501 E502) and the duplication of broadcast to the mobile device. For “mirror stream” in the receiving equipment does not require an available tuner, so watching TV content with a “second screen” becomes available to users of all digital set-top boxes General Satellite-based Stingray TV version 2.5.477. Full functionality of the updated app “Play.Tricolor” is available to owners of consoles GS E501/C591 (C5911), E502 GS and GS U510 with software version below 2.5.477. Soon support a “mirror stream” will also be implemented in the firmware upgrade for the receivers GS B210, GS B211, B212 GS, GS E212, GS and GS U210 U210CI.
