Google unveiled the second generation of virtual reality helmet Cardboard and released client for iOS

Google has introduced a new version of the virtual reality helmet Cardboard and released app for the iOS platform. Premiere of the novelties was held at the conference for developers Google I/O.

Cardboard is a virtual reality headset for smartphones. The product is made of cardboard, can collect anyone. For your device you will need corrugated cardboard (very popular packaging option), a couple of lenses, a pair of small textile zippers, elastic band, and a magnet, and from the tools might need a dummy knife and glue. After Assembly is completed, it remains only to set the Cardboard smartphone app that allows you to obtain a stereoscopic image by using a makeshift helmet.

Cardboard second generation supports smart phones with screens up to 6 inches, including the iPhone 6 Plus, and most importantly, is compatible not only with Android, but also iOS. The app is already available for download in the us App Store.
