A week after the final release of 8.0 Oreo Android Google developers engaged in the creation of the next version of the operating system. The name of the next Goodies now starts with the English letter “P”. It is reported by XDA-Developers.
Android 8.0 Oreo yet officially received only the owners of smartp hones Pixel and Nexus. Google promises to negotiate with OEMs before the end of the year and yet is developing a new version of the mobile OS.
The mention of the name Android P repeatedly found in the Android Open Source Project. There the system is marked as “master p”. Found traces of ninth version of Android in the AOSP code.
Test devices for testing the operating system perform their own smartphones Google model Pixel (referred to under the name “sailfish”) and Pixel XL (“marlin”).
It seems that very soon Google will launch the well known game — “pick the name of Android”. Above the world famous biscuits “Oreo” users fought for almost a year.
