Google has reduced the price of adapters-c USB-C 3.5 mm to $ 9

This adapter allows you to connect headphones with a 3.5 mm connector via a USB digital-C in the Pixel 2.

During the presentation, Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL, the company announced that the novelties will be supplied with adapter for headphones. Its original price was 20 dollars in the Google Store. On 14 October Google has reduced the price of this adapter with 20 dollars to 9 dollars.

While the Google phone was equipped with a 3.5 mm headphone Jack, the company was not required to compete with Apple. Now, when Pixel a new generation switched to digital USB-C, Google was forced to reduce the price to the level of competition. Apple adapter Lightning-to-3.5 mm is the same $ 9.

The initial cost of the adapter Google USB to 3.5 mm C always seemed unreasonably high, especially looking at the price of a similar adapter from Apple. So nice to see that Google has reduced the price in anticipation of the beginning of sales of Pixel 2. Of course, each Pixel comes with this adapter already in the kit, but some users may want to buy an extra adapter just in case.
